AMPed Fest

AN EVENT TO SUPPORT OUR LIMB LOSS POPULATION

April 21st, 2018

11 a.m - 3 p.m.

Touro Outpatient Rehabilitation Center • 1525 St. Charles Ave.

FOOD TRUCKS • LIVE MUSIC • COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Held during Limb Loss Awareness Month, AMPed Fest is the first festival of its kind in the area supporting the amputee population.  New Orleans knows festivals best so what better way to create awareness for this population than throwing a festival.  AMPed Fest will include live music, local restaurants, tents from local vendors and sponsors, balance assessments and an obstacle course as a fundraiser to help send local children with amputations to camp and adults to the annual Amputee Coalition Conference.  Presented by the Touro Infirmary Foundation, AMPed Fest aims to raise funds, create awareness for the Limb Loss Support Group as well as the daily trials and tribulations that are often encountered in the amputee population.
