Dr. Kenneth Adatto
 
Kenneth Adatto, M.D.

Dr. Adatto is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who has practiced orthopaedic surgery for more than 30 years. He earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency in orthopaedics at Charity Hospital of New Orleans. He is a clinical professor with the LSU School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Adatto specializes in minimally invasive outpatient cervical spine surgery.

Dr. Estrada is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a Subspecialty Board Certification in Sports Medicine and performs hip, knee, and partial knee replacements. He has performed hundreds of hip, knee and partial knee replacements a year and uses computer navigation. He is one of only a few doctors in the country certified to perform an innovative shoulder surgery called “reverse shoulder arthroplasty,” used for severe rotator cuff tears with arthritis and severe arthritis.

He is certified in orthopaedic sports medicine and specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tears. He is the team physician to Country Day School football and Delta Festival Ballet. As a community service, Dr. Estrada provides care to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic. He is the former team physician for UNO Athletics.

J. Monroe Laborde, M.D.
 
 
Dr. Laborde is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and has practiced orthopaedic surgery in New Orleans for more than 25 years. Dr. Laborde is a former chairman of Orthopaedic Department at Touro. He has a Masters of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Laborde has done extensive orthopaedic research which has been widely published. He has also made over 50 presentations to a variety of audiences throughout the United States. He has teaching appointments at Tulane and Louisiana State University Schools of Medicine.

Richard L. Meyer, Jr., M.D.
 

Dr. Meyer is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon in hip, knee, and partial knee reconstructive surgery. He is the first Louisiana physician to use the CI computer navigation system to perform computer assisted knee replacement surgery. Dr. Meyer is one of the most experienced CI System orthopaedic surgeons in the area, having performed hundreds of successful total knee replacement surgeries using computer navigation technology. He performs the anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty. Dr. Meyer is also a clinical instructor of computer navigated surgery.

Dr. Gabriel Tender
 
Gabriel Tender, M.D.

Dr. Tender graduated medical school at the top of his class from Craiova Medical School in Craiova, Romania, before completing an extensive post-graduate curriculum specializing in neurological and spinal surgery.

Following medical school, he attended the Institute of Cerebrovascular Diseases neurosurgery program in Bucharest, Romania. Dr. Tender finished the remainder of his medical training in the U.S., completing a general surgery program at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and a neurosurgery program at the Louisiana State University School (LSU) of Medicine in New Orleans. He also completed extensive research in pain inhibition procedures at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Tender is an assistant professor of neurosurgery at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He has authored more than 19 publications and 20 presentations on the topic of spinal and neurosurgical treatments.

Dr. Kevin Watson
 
 
Dr. Watson is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who graduated with honors from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was elected as Administrative Chief Resident for Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Watson performs total hip, total knee and partial knee replacements. He is certified to perform reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Watson serves as team physician for Holy Cross Athletics, Country Day High School and the Delta Festival Ballet.
