To promote careers in nursing and allied health, Touro Volunteer Services will host the 4th annual Health Career Camp, July 25-29. This is an intense one-week program for rising juniors, seniors and recent high school graduates interested in a healthcare career.

The curriculum includes 10 clinical rotations as well as CPR training and a special session on emergency preparedness. Working in small teams, students benefit from hands-on learning activities as well as the opportunity to meet and observe healthcare professionals in their work environment.

Through partnerships with area colleges and universities with healthcare programs, campers also have the opportunity to meet and discuss their career plans with school recruiters.
