Job Details:
- BSN required
- Basic Life Support
- Licensed in the State of Louisiana or eligible
- Registered Nurse
- 5+ years experience is required
- Supervisory experience is required
Responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients in the assigned department on a twenty-four hour basis.
Must possess the following: *Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with a diverse population of employees, physicians, patients and their families. *Ability to work productively under stressful circumstances *Ability to perform tasks which may involve lifting, prolonged standing and walking. *Ability to promote customer service and mediate conflict in support of Touro's mission, vision and values.
Minimum of 5 years experience in hospital or similar environment and minimum of 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role or similar experience required.
