Medical Records Coordinator - Woldenberg Village
Department: Woldenberg Village Nursing Administration
Schedule: Fulltime (40 hours per week, days)
Job Details:
- Associates degree or bachelors degree in HIM is required
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- 1-2 years experience required
- ICD-9 Coding experience equired
- Certification as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Required.
This key management position is responsible for coordination and oversight of all functions of the MDS assessment process, interdisciplinary team and rehab conference meetings, staffing, recruitment, retention, and disciplinary issues. Customer service, organizational and time management skills a must. LA RN license, Long Term Care exp & MDS exp. required. MDS certification and management experience preferred.
