Comprehensive Inpatient Program/Services
PROGRAM GOALS
Our self-contained inpatient unit is dedicated to helping people with physical disabilities due to accident or illness regain their highest level of functioning as quickly as possible while promoting independence and community re-entry.

We also assist individuals in setting and achieving realistic educational, vocational, social and/or leisure goals. Through comprehensive therapies with an emphasis on patient and family education, we ease the transition from hospital to home or other setting.

This interdisciplinary group is managed by the physiatrist and includes the patient, family members, referring physician, rehabilitation nurses, rehabilitation counselors, case managers, physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists and therapeutic recreation specialists. It also includes dietitians respiratory therapists, neuropsychologists, the chaplain and other healthcare personnel as needed.
