PRE-ADMISSION
• A pre-admission visit or telephone interview is necessary to obtain your important medical information. During your pre-admission screening, you will be interviewed by one of our knowledgeable nurses, and one of our anesthesiologists will discuss your anesthesia plan with you. This is also another opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about your procedure. Your pre-admission screening may also include blood and urine tests, an EKG, x-rays, or anything else your doctor requests. We will also let you know the expected length of time of your procedure so you can make transportation arrangements.
• Insurance Verification and/or Payment Options. For your convenience, we will verify insurance coverage or other payment options in advance. We will also gather any other information to expedite and simplify your admission for surgery. Please be prepared to present your identification and insurance cards.
