Dr. Estrada is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who has performed hundreds of hip and knee replacements and uses Computerized Navigation Technology for his surgeries. He is also one of the first physicians in the New Orleans metro-area to perform partial knee replacements. He is one of only a few doctors in the country certified to perform an innovative shoulder surgery called “reverse shoulder arthroplasty,” used for severe rotator cuff tears and severe arthritis. The first surgery of this kind in southeastern Louisiana was performed at Touro Infirmary by Dr. Estrada in August 2006. He also specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tears. He is the team physican to UNO basketball and baseball, Delta Festival Ballet, and Country Day School football. As a community service, Dr. Estrada provides care to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic.

J. Monroe Laborde, M.D.
 
 
Dr. Laborde is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and has practiced orthopaedic surgery in New Orleans for more than 25 years. Dr. Laborde is a former chairman of Orthopaedic Department at Touro. He has a Masters of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Laborde has done extensive orthopaedic research which has been widely published. He has also made over 50 presentations to a variety of audiences throughout the United States. He has teaching appointments at Tulane and Louisiana State University Schools of Medicine.

Richard L. Meyer, Jr., M.D.
 

Dr. Meyer is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon in hip and knee reconstructive surgery. He is the first Louisiana physician to use the Ci computer navigation system to perform computer assisted knee replacement surgery. Dr. Meyer is one of the most experienced Ci System orthopaedic surgeons in the area, having performed hundreds of successful total knee replacement surgeries using computer navigation technology. Dr. Meyer is also a clinical instructor of computer navigated surgery.

Dr. Watson graduated with honors from Tulane University School of Medicine then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was elected as Administrative Chief Resident for Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Watson performs hip and knee surgeries using Computerized Navigation Technology. He is also one of the first physicians in the New Orleans metro-area to perform partial knee replacements. Dr. Watson practices serves as team physician for Holy Cross Althletics.
