Education classes are held for persons with spinal cord injury or medical issues that may have the same effect as a spinal cord injury and their families. The classes focus on topics which will help you better care for yourself and increase your knowledge of medical and social issues related to your injury.
Spinal Cord Injury Family Education Day occurs the 3rd Monday of every month in the M1002 Conference room. It is open to current families, families/patients in NRC and open to the community at large. All patients in the Spinal Cord Injury Program are provided with a copy of “Yes, You Can!” a guide to self-care for persons with spinal cord injury.
