Rehabilitation Support Services in New Orleans
Resources & programs for rehabilitating patients
At Touro Rehabilitation Center, patients and families are never alone in the therapy process. From support groups to home health services to housing for family members, the center is here to help individuals through this challenging time.
Touro provides outpatient care for patients in their homes through the Touro at Home program.
Touro at Home offers:
- Skilled nursing
- Home care aide
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Speech/language pathology
- Nutritional counseling
- Medical social services
There are eligibility requirements to qualify for home healthcare. Patients requiring home health services should discuss the potential need for home healthcare with their physicians. Often, the hospital social workers or nurses can initiate the referral process. We can assist patients in determining insurance coverage, too.
