Longest-stay COIVD19 patient discharge

  • Date Posted: May 28, 2020

We celebrated the discharge and recovery of our longest-stay COVID-19 patient, Trichelle McDaniel. Trichelle came to Touro Emergency room on March 11th with flu-like symptoms at 35 weeks pregnant. After a long and un-certain battle with COVID-19, she was discharged after 72 days of hospitalization. Due to the dedication and commitment to care by Touro physicians and staff, Trichelle was able to walk out of the hospital today, reunite with her family and hold her baby boy for the first time.
