Touro care, close to home
Touro’s subsidiary of physician practices
Touro's physician practices have cared for the New Orleans community since 1994. Touro Physician Practices has over 70 providers in 25 clinic locations throughout New Orleans and the surrounding areas, providing services in eight specialties. Our goal is to provide comprehensive quality care in a friendly and comfortable environment.
Our physicians are dedicated to caring for the patients in our community and working together to provide the best quality of care. Many of our providers treat patients at more than one location to provide convenient options for healthcare closer to home.
Call 504.897.7197 to find your physician or complete the physician referral form and our staff will contact you to setup an appointment.
Our mission is to provide ethical, compassionate, and high-quality care that places utmost value on the physician-patient relationship.
Our vision is to be the premiere multi-specialty group serving New Orleans and its surrounding communities by recognizing the importance of the unique relationship that exists between a patient and their physician and by placing value on a physician’s personalized care and concern for them. We will lead the evolution of healthcare for Touro Infirmary to enable every member of our community to have a healthier life.
Touro clinics are an outpatient department of Touro Infirmary. These clinics are not just a physician practice; this outpatient facility is an extension of the hospital’s outpatient sub-specialty services. For each visit at a Touro clinic, you will receive two separate bills for services provided: One bill from the clinic and one from Touro Infirmary. These bills are not duplicate charges but a separation of the facility and the physician or provider’s fee. If you have any questions or concerns about the billing process, please feel free to call our office.
Since Touro clinics are an extension of Touro Infirmary, the clinics must be Joint Commission Accredited. The Joint Commission is a private entity that evaluates and accredits nearly 88% of the nation’s hospitals and other healthcare organizations. The federal government requires healthcare organizations to pass Joint Commission accreditation in order to participate in important federal healthcare programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. Healthcare organizations also benefit from accreditation because one of the Joint Commission’s most important initiatives is to organize and strengthen key patient safety efforts. As part of Touro Infirmary’s health system, Touro's clinics will complete Joint Commission accreditation, which will increase our ability to provide the highest quality healthcare for you and your loved ones.
Please contact our physician practices directly to learn more about the specialties offered and the age ranges they treat. Most major insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted.
Crescent City Physicians, Inc., dba as Touro Physician Practices, is a for-profit subsidiary of Touro Infirmary.
